YouTube clip not preview of Wilders’ film

A film claiming to be a ‘sneak preview’ of the much publicised anti-Muslim film being made by MP Geert Wilders has been placed on the YouTube website, says Thursday’s Volkskrant.

But Wilders, leader of the anti-immigration PVV party, tells the paper that the fragment is not a preview of his film.
The clip on YouTube is titled Forbidden and shows ex-British prime minister Tony Blair and US president George Bush claiming that Islam is a peaceful religion which is being misused by terrorists.
Wilders tells the paper he is now putting the finishing touches to his film and is in talks with current affairs programme Nova to see whether it will show the 10 minute film.
The Dutch government fears a backlash from Islamic countries and has warned about the risks of screening such a film. In November Wilders told the media the film will be ‘hard-hitting’ and ‘provocative’.
