TNT boss 'wrong for jobs committee'
Tuesday 22 January 2008
TNT boss Peter Bakker should be removed as chairman of a government committee set up to get more people back to work, say Socialist Party MPs.
They say Bakker has no credibility because his company is sacking thousands of postal delivery workers and replacing them with freelancers paid by the hour.
Postal unions claim Bakker is also trying to undermine German minimum wage legislation.
