Public prosecutor urged to act on Wilders

Moroccan organisations in the Netherlands have called on the public prosecution department to take legal action against anti-immigration MP Geert Wilders for discrimination against Muslims.

The department received 40 complaints about Wilders last year but has not yet said if any of them will lead to legal action.
‘We want to force the issue,’ Mohamed Rabbae of Moroccan organisation LBM told news agency ANP.
Meanwhile, noted criminal lawyer Gerard Spong and 30 students from Amsterdam university are working on their own formal complaint against Wilders for spreading hatred.
