Court bans embassy security strike

Police officers charged with security at a number of embassies and other sensitive locations in The Hague have been banned from striking on Saturday by a Utrecht court.

The court ruled that security issues were more important than the right to strike. The judge also said that terrorist threat were a strong argument for banning the strike, news agency ANP reported.
Police unions are taking industrial action in support of their pay claim.
