Cannabis pill attracts €3m investment

Cannabis pill maker Echo Pharmaceuticals in Weesp has managed to attract an investment of €3m to register its cannabis pill officially as a medicine, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Wednesday.

As from this year, the Namisol pill is available on prescription but an official registration is needed if the company is to grow, the paper says.
Cannabis eases pain and muscle cramps for those with multiple scleroisis, combats nausea caused by cancer radiation treatment and whets the appetite of Aids patients, points out the FD.
And you don’t even have to worry about getting high if you just use one pill. ‘To get high you would have to put 10 pills under your tongue,’ financial director Andre de Legé of Echo Pharmaceuticals tells the paper.
