Massive police raid on trailer park (update)

Some 250 police raided a trailer park in Leiden early on Tuesday morning in search of weapons, reports ANP news service.

Seven people have been arrested, a police spokeswoman told ANP. Five are being held in connection with the possession of illegal and stolen goods, including weapons, she said. The other two are suspected of fraud and non-payment of fines.
The site on the Trekvaartplein has been sealed off and no-one will be allowed to enter or leave the area until the police have completed their work, the police spokeswoman told ANP.
Police are using specially trained dogs to search around 30 of the 120 trailers on the camp.
