Home owners pay too much insurance

Home owners are paying hundreds of euros too much for their home insurance, says Thursday’s Telegraaf.

Research into 52 different home insurance policies by MoneyView shows that the difference in monthly premiums can stretch to up to 200%, the paper says. And home valuations can vary by as much as 50%.

Damage by pets was not covered in any of the policies looked at, although all pet owners assumed that it was, the Telegraaf said.
