Heineken buys Belarus brewery

Heineken is taking over Belarus brewery Syabar Brewing Company, the second-biggest brewing group in the country. Financial details were not disclosed.
Syabar has a workforce of 280 and sold 600,000 hectolitres of beer this year.
Sybar’s current owner is a Cyprus-based unit of the World Bank which makes loans to the private sector in developing countries, reports news agency ANP.
