Few arrests in Rotterdam anti-drink action

Efforts to stop young people under 16 drinking alcohol in Rotterdam resulted in just eight arrests on Friday night – all of whom were over the legal age for drinking alcohol.

News agency ANP reports that 11 different organisations including the police, health service and local tram operator RET, were involved in the blitz, which targeted the city’s Stadhuisplein.
