Tommy Hilfiger seeks AEX listing
Tuesday 20 November 2007
The American leisure wear company Tommy Hilfiger is seeking an AEX listing, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The company currently generates most of its turnover in Europe and has a group of childrens' wear designers working in Amsterdam.
The company was listed on the New York stock exchange until 2006 when it was taken over by the British investment company Apax Partners.
The Wall Street Journal says that an Amsterdam listing would increase the value of the company by between €2bn and €3bn.
