Caravans to be allowed to speed up

The maximum speed for cars towing caravans is set to increase from 80kph to 90kph, transport minister Camiel Eurlings said on Tuesday.
With a total of 470,000 caravans, the Netherlands has more caravans per head of the population than any other country in Europe.
It is not yet known when the new speed limit, which had been called for by caravan owners and lorry drivers alike, will come into force.
