Máxima is talking rubbish, says Wilders

Princess Máxima was talking ‘well-meant, politically-correct rubbish’ when she gave a speech welcoming the publication of a report on Dutch nationality, said Geert Wilders leader of the anti-Islam party PVV on RTL news.

In her speech, Máxima expressed sympathy with the findings of the WRR council on government policy which call for a shift in thinking on identity and backs dual nationality.
The Netherlands still thinks too much in terms of divisions between people and stereotypes, the princess said. ‘But the Netherlands is not a zoo…. A mixture of cultures is what gives us strength.
‘We think too quickly in terms of black and white and that does not do us or others justice,’ she said. Máxima, who is the wife of crown prince Willem Alexander, holds Dutch and Argentine nationality.
