Unemployment rate falls again

The number of Dutch unemployed fell to 357,000 between February and April 2007, taking the unemployment rate to 5%, the national statistics office CBS announced today.


The jobless total fell in all age categories, but the biggest drop was in the 25 to 44 age group. A year ago, some 6% of the working population were unemployed.
