The shortage of skilled workers in Rotterdam threatens to become acute, city officials said on Thursday.

Competition between the regions is intensifying, making it important that Rotterdam ‘continues to invest in creating an attractive climate in which to work and live in,’ the city’s social affairs chief Dominic Schrijer said.
