Minister wants answers on osteoporosis

Health minister Ab Klink has ordered an external investigation into the Osteoporosis Association, which has been accused of fraud, forgery and misuse of patients money.


The association, for people with brittle bones, has been given €87,000 in government subsidies this year.
However, according to Trouw, its two directors and secretary submit expenses claims totalling some €10,000 a month. One director lives in the US, the paper says.
