Huge fire destroys supermarket
A huge fire on Tuesday evening destroyed the local supermarket and a clothes shop in the Friesian town of Appelscha. The police say no one was hurt.
The fire started around 9 pm in the clothes shop, engulfed the supermarket and threatened to spread to a neighbouring restaurant before the fire service had it under control.
