Former Dutch PM criticises Hamas boycott

Former Dutch prime minister Dries van Agt on Saturday criticised the European boycott of the Hamas-led Palestinian government, saying it is frustrating the peace process in the Middle East.


Van Agt was speaking at a conference on Palestine in Rotterdam. Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniyeh addressed the conference by satellite after being refused an entry visa to the Netherlands.
