Tuesday 15 May 2007

Newspapers are again being bought by fewer people, with sales down 2.3% overall last year, according to the latest Hoi circulation figures. Free newspapers saw their circulation figures rise 4.3%.

Two new freesheets have been launched in the Netherlands since last year. The small financial newspaper Financieele Dagblad was one of the few to boost its readership, with a 4.3% increase.
