Dutch good at stopping smoking
Some 30% of Dutch smokers who kick the habit never light another cigarette, well above the European average of 21%, according to new EU research.
Some 40% of the Dutch have never smoked, while 29% are regular smokers – below the EU average of 32%. The Portuguese smoke least (24%) while the Greeks are the heaviest smokers (42%).
