Up to 2,000 new jobs at DAF

Between one and two thousand new jobs are to be created by truck maker DAF in Eindhoven as part of a significant expansion in the coming years, the company told local broadaster Omroep Brabant on Sunday.

Company chairman Aad Goudriaan said DAF has allocated extra investment of €25m for this year to increase truck production from 180 to 300 a day.

DAF currently has a staff of over 5,100 in Eindhoven.
