Air France/KLM triples profit

Airline Air France/KLM posted €229m net profit in the third quarter of its 2006/07 book year, compared with €77m in the year-earlier period. Seat occupancy rates were up 4% and total sales 6%, the airline said.

The company has now upped its full-year profit forecast, saying it will book 'very strong results'.
