Queen Beatrix celebrates 69th birthday

Dutch monarch Queen Beatrix is celebrating her 69th birthday today reports NOS. The queen will spend the day with her family at Huis ten Bosch in The Hague. Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard was born at Soestdijk Palace in Baarn and became queen in 1980, succeeding her mother, Juliana.
