Gnomes visit old people’s home

Residents of the Zuidervaart old people’s home in Alphen aan den Rijn have been surprised by the arrival of 47 plastic gnomes which turned up overnight in their garden. No-one knows where they came from, Paola de Boer, from the home told the Parool yesterday. In the meantime, the residents have been busy knitting the gnomes scarves.
