Local Elections 2010

PVV catches up with Labour in the Hague

Geert Wilders' anti-Islam party is on to take seven seats on the Hague city council, according to a new poll by TNS Nipo.

That would give the PVV the same number of seats as the Liberals (VVD) who are on target to lose three and end up on seven.

Labour will remain the biggest party but will lose six of its current 15 seats, the poll shows.

The PVV is only contesting the local elections in the Hague and Almere.
