Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen won the Mexico Grand Prix on Sunday, calling it ‘one of the easiest races of my career’, the AD reports.

His victory comes in the wake of a demotion to fourth place in the American Grand Prix last week, which Verstappen blamed on a steward.

‘The car was great and after last week this was the perfect result. The start was crucial. After that all I had to do was monitor the state of the tyres. It was one of the easiest races of my career,’ the AD quotes Verstappen as saying.

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton came in 9th to win his fourth world championship title.

Verstappen, who is 20, has now won three Grand Prix since he joined Red Bull team at the age of 17.
