Dutch short track speed skaters had a clean sweep of the podium in the women’s 500 metres at the world championships in South Korea on Saturday.

Xandra Velzeboer prolongued her 500 meter title and was joined by Suzanne Schulting and Selma Poutsma in silver and bronze position.

Schulting had taken the 1,500 metres title earlier in the day, just ahead of arch rival Choi Min-jeong.

Jens van ‘t Wout took bronze in the men’s 500 metres.

The 1000 metres finals for both men and women, and the relays, take place on Sunday.
