Dutch men take home bronze from the hockey world cup in India

The Dutch men’s hockey team have won the bronze medal at the hockey world up in India, after a 3-1 win over Australia.

The title was won by Germany, who beat Belgium on shoot outs after the match ended in a 3-3 draw.

The Dutch men last won the world title in 1998, and were second in both 2014 and 2018. The Dutch women’s team have been world cup title holders for four of the past five years.
