Friday will remain stormy well into the evening but the thunder and heavy rain will die away overnight, according to the latest forecast by the KNMI weather bureau.

Saturday and Sunday will have some sunny spells and showers, with the temperature reaching no more than 23 Celsius in inland areas.

Monday too will be wet, but by Tuesday it will be dry, with plenty of sun and temperatures in the high 20s. Storms may return again by the end of the week but after that the KNMI forecasts slightly cooler temperature with little rain well into July.
