After a wet week, the sunshine will be back on Thursday
This week has started off with a mixed bag in terms of the weather, but by Thursday we could be in for some fine autumn sunshine, weather bureau Weerplaza said on Monday.
While it may be stormy on Tuesday and Wednesday, by late on Thursday it will be dry with temperatures up to 20 Celsius in the south, Weerplaza said.
The clear skies will bring chilly evenings, and ground frost is possible in sheltered areas. The sunshine will remain until Sunday when there could be a little rain.
According to the KNMI, the long-term forecast is for dry, stable weather well into October.
