The rain and drizzle in the west and north of the country will die out as Monday progresses and there may be some sun in the south and east later in the day.

The temperature will rise to no higher than 12 Celsius in the north west and 16 Celsius in the south, and the wind will turn from north-easterly to south-westerly during the evening.

Tuesday will have a misty start in some places but it will remain dry with temperatures around 15 Celisus. The sun may break through at times.

Wednesday will be overcast but dry, and the rain and sunny spells will be back again on Thursday. The KNMI’s long-range forecast is for a shift towards more stable weather patterns with temperatures below average for late October.
