In total 149 football players moved clubs during this winter’s transfer season, the Dutch football association KNVB said on Thursday evening.
This is just two down on the record 151 transfers booked in 2017, the KNVB said.
Of the 149 players moving club, 69 are staying in the Netherlands, 41 players have gone abroad and 39 have moved to the Netherlands to continue their football career in the two Dutch professional leagues.
FC Dordrecht was the most active club, with seven new players. Dordrecht is currently third from the bottom of the first division.
