The man and woman found dead in woodland in Zeeland on Thursday morning have been identified as a couple from Middelburg.
The couple, aged 43 and 39, had five children, ranging in age from three to adulthood. The youngest two, the toddler and a 13-year-old, have been placed in foster care, the Telegraaf reported.
The bodies were spotted by a passerby, close to a dark blue Mercedes early on Thursday morning.
Police have not yet revealed what killed the couple but have said they died violently. Police officers have also searched the family home in Middleburg, the paper said.
