The Netherlands one of just 11 Fitch Triple-A ratings

The Netherlands is one of just 11 countries to be given the highest credit assessment of Triple-A by international ratings agency Fitch’s last year and their number is expected to remain unchanged for the next two years, the company said on Friday.

The 11-country total is the lowest number since 2003. Between 2004 and 2009 16 countries had Triple A status.

Aside from the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and the US have AAA status.
