The Netherlands is sending a team of 43 athletes to the European Athletics Championships, which begin next Tuesday in Zurich.
The team consists of 22 men and 21 women and includes Dafne Schippers who won bronze at the World Championships in 2013 in the heptathlon. She will run the 100 and 200 metres, while indoor world champion Nadine Broersen takes on the heptathlon.
Among the men who qualified are the sprinter Churandy Martina and the long jumper Ignisious Gaisah.
