Thousands of people braved the chilly waters of the North Sea for a traditional New Year’s dip on Wednesday.
With a sea temperature of 7.5 Celsius, the water was ‘relatively warm’, Nos television said.
The main event takes place at the seaside resort of Scheveningen, where some 10,000 people took a dip.
Dozens of other swims took place around the country, bringing the total of swimmers to around 46,000.
