Holland’s richest people see their wealth rise 5.6%, says Quote
The Netherlands 500 richest families and individuals have combined assets of €143bn, 5.6% more than last year, according to the latest edition of the Quote 500 rich list.
Top of the list is the Brenninkmeijer family (owner of the C&A retail chain) with estimated assets of €22bn.
New at number two is Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, heiress to the brewing group, with some €5bn to her name – up €1.2bn on a year ago.
In third place is the Van der Vorm family which owns 68% of the HAL investment group, with estimated assets of €4.8bn.
In last place is Dennis Bergkamp, the former footballer, with a fortune of some €55m.
