Public transport strikes continue

The series of public transport strikes continue on Thursday with no buses, trams or metro services in The Hague.

Workers in the city are protesting at planned cuts of €120m and the forced privatisation of the service.
Services are due to resume from 08.30.
Yesterday public transport workers were on strike in Rotterdam. On Friday, it is the turn of Amsterdam.
