No toilet on trains row rumbles on

Transport minister Melanie Schultz van Haegen is looking at the possibility of adding an extra train carriage with toilet to sprinter train services, RTL news reports on Thursday.

Many MPs are angry that the minister has decided sprinter trains – mainly used for short journeys – will not have toilet facilities on board.
She says the cost – €90m – is too expensive and has suggested building toilets at stations instead.
The suggestion for a special toilet carriage came from the SP.
