The pro-paedophile political party PNVD has disbanded after failing to find enough supporters to enable it to take part in the June general election, news agency Novum reports.
Despite a change in the election rules, the party has been unable to attract the 570 signatures necessary to appear on the ballot papers.
The changes mean parties only need supply the initials, surname and place of residence of supporters, rather than their full name and address.
The PNVD said in January it hoped this would enable it to gather enough signatures to stand for parliament because its supporters need not fear being found out.
