Terschelling launches own ferry service
Islanders from the the Wadden Sea island of Terschelling have launched their own ferry service to the mainland because of dissatisfaction with the service run by shipping company Doeksen.
The neighbouring island of Texel already has its own islander-owned service. The cabinet wants to put the island ferry services out to tender to the highest bidder.
