The Dutch entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest failed to qualify for Saturday’s final in Tuesday evening’s first round vote.

It is the fourth time in row that the Netherlands has been an early loser. Disappointed singer Hind was reported by ANP as saying it was very annoying to be out ‘especially when you see that a country like Azerbaijan makes it’.
