AZ in the lead as Ajax and Feyenoord lose, Twente draws
AZ of Alkmaar remain in the top spot in the Dutch premier league, or Eredivisie, this weekend with a 3-1 win over VVV Venlo.
Amsterdam’s Ajax had their first defeat of the season, losing 1-0 to Groningen.
PSV scored twice in the last five minutes to beat NEC Nijmegen 2-0 while last year’s league runners up Twente managed a late goal to salvage a 2-2 draw against Excelsior.
