Work-life balance is about right says 64% of workers

Two-thirds of Dutch workers are happy with their work-life balance, according to research conducted by Mercer.


Flexible hours are an important part of getting the balance right and 54% of companies offer this opportunity to their staff.
The number of people who think the amount of work they do is reasonable has dropped to 62%, compared with 83% in 2006, says Mercer.
More women (68%) value a good work-life balance than men (61%).
Mercer questioned 1,800 people.
