Private jet firm licence suspended on safety grounds

A private jet company used by the royal family and senior politicians has had its operating licence suspended on safety grounds, the Telegraaf reports.

Solid Air, which is based in Eindhoven, has been given three months to get its house in order or lose its licence completely, the paper says.
Transport ministry inspectors raided Solid Air’s hangar two weeks ago and found ‘multiple signs’ of irregularities with flying hours, procedures and other aspects of air safety.
A criminal investigation has also been started.
