Very good schools could soon be given a star rating, similar to the Michelin system, education minister Marja van Bijsterveldt says in Friday’s Financieele Dagblad.

At the moment school standards are graded, sufficient, weak and very weak, but a star system would challenge schools to achieve excellence, the minister told the paper.
