Missing Maastricht girls turn up
Two teenaged girls who disappeared in Paris while on a school trip last week have turned up safe and well.
According to the Telegraaf, the school’s director suspects the girls had planned to run off and stay longer in the city. However, the girls themselves say a combination of bad luck and timing led to them spending three nights on the streets.
Anoesha Aram (16) en Halima Saoufi (17) turned up at the Gare du Noord police station on Monday afternoon, saying they had no money to take the train back to Maastricht.
