Mobile phone problems continue

Just hours after Vodafone sorted out major disruption to its mobile phone networks, users of KPN pre-paid phones began experiencing problems.
Some KPN users cannot make calls or send text messages and 1,200 business networks are also down, Nos tv reported on Friday afternoon. Ordinary KPN subscribers experienced problems earlier in the day.
Vodafone's problems lasted over 24 hours. The disruption also led to the shutdown of the Utrecht tram network because tram drivers communicate with each other via Vodafone. Many MPs were also left without mobile phone contact yesterday.
