Red carpet celebrates Chinese New Year

The Hague will roll out the red carpet – literally – on Saturday to celebrate the Chinese New Year. A one kilometre long carpet will link the city hall to The Hague’s Chinese quarter.
The Hague claims the city’s festivities will be the second-biggest in Europe (after Paris) and will culminate with a fireworks display on Spuiplein.
