ING sells remaining interest in Voya
Dutch banking group ING is selling its remaining 19% interest in the US insurance company Voya Financial for around $2bn.
Voya will buy $600m worth of the shares itself, the bank said.
ING decreased its holding in Voya, the former ING US, last November from 32.5% to just under 19%.
Voya posted record profit last month, making this a good moment for the sale, the bank told the Financieele Dagblad.
