Dry, sunny late summer weather to end this weekend

The last of the warm, dry weather will be on Saturday, weather forecasters said on Friday, with wet, unsettled weather set to move across the country on Sunday.

While the temperatures may reach 21 Celsius on Saturday, on Sunday it will drop to 16 degrees as clouds move in from the west. This is normal for the time of year, weather forecasters say.

Next week there will be blustery gales and some showers. Tuesday in particular will be overcast and wet, weather bureau weeronline.nl said. However, the temperature could rise up to 18 Celsius in places because of warm, southerly winds.
